Article: launch of the 4th edition of Mentoraa!
"We've all been through the 'I don't know how to do anything' phase when we left school. The mentoring program allows us to build confidence by sharing our experience", "Enriching and reassuring", "I think this program is great! I think it allows us to see the realities of our training through the experience and advice of someone who has been there before us. I see the real plus of this program when you do it in 3AI".... Feedback from 3rd edition mentees has been very positive, and the 4th edition promises to be just as rewarding!
The AAGSI launched the 4th edition of the mentoraa program on [insert date], which is shaping up very nicely in view of the record number of participants! Indeed, 35 pairs were formed this year.
Mentoraa is a 9-month program set up to enable 3AIs and recent graduates to be mentored by a GSI alumnus at the start of their career. A special space is reserved for them on the agora to facilitate communication.
The launch took place in three stages: an introduction to the team, a presentation of the program and an initial exchange between mentees and mentors.
A questionnaire was submitted to the participants beforehand, in order to select the best pairs based on the mentees' preferences and their match with the mentors. Three points were taken into account: sector of activity, skills and geographical location.
General communication will take place in January, followed by individual communication in February and a mid-course review in April. Finally, in August, the mentoraa team will call for feedback and close the session in September.

The meetings between mentors and mentees lasted 20 minutes, and enabled them to get to know each other better by sharing their backgrounds and expectations for the program. This meeting was also crucial to enable each pair to organize themselves as they wished and agree on the modalities for their exchanges.
We wish our mentees every success in overcoming the challenges they face with the help of their mentors! See you soon for more news from the mentoraa program!
